About the faculty

The main activity of the Faculty of Theology is research, education and dissemination of knowledge in the fields of theology and African Studies. The Faculty develops in conjunction with changes in society and engages itself actively in the growing internationalisation and exchanges with those employers who hire the graduates of the Faculty.

Information and dissemination of knowledge

The researchers at the Faculty of Theology aim at publishing their research with accuracy and speed. A part of the dissemination of knowledge is being carried out through general lectures and publishing. Current lectures, seminars and other research related activities are listed under Events.

International profile

In recent years there has been an increased focus on the internationalisation of research and higher education in Denmark and abroad. This is also reflected at the Faculty of Theology for instance by the Nordic Master degree programme named Religious Roots of Europe and in continuing education which offers a wide range of courses taught in English.
