Research funding

If you are not currently employed at the Faculty of Theology and wish to apply for funding for a project at the Faculty you will need a confirmation of affiliation from the head of the relevant department and from the Dean before you can send in an application.

If you are applying for funding for a position as a PhD student or postdoctoral fellow you will additionally need an agreement with your future supervisor.

The Faculty research support do offer support for external applicants as soon as they have an agreement of affiliation in place. The research support team offers support on budgetary issues, application writing and the formal criteria’s for different applications.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions

The Faculty of Theology each year welcomes new fellows through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie individual fellowship programme. Read more about the programme here.

As a potential Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow you will need an agreement with a supervisor who wishes to supervise your project. You can see the employees at theology here.

You should be aware that this is a lengthy process and that we normally set the deadline for expressing interest in the early spring.
