Current research

My PhD project focuses on art and furnishings from the 20^th century in Folkekirken / the Church in Denmark: I investigate how the decoration and spatial layout of the particular, charged space of the church mirrors aspects of contemporary anthropological thinking, and to which degree changing ideas are reflected and accomodated in the church interior.
