Current research
The project, A Modern Religious Breakthrough? An Examination of the Moravian Society in Copenhagen (1739-1771), examines the developments of concepts and the dynamics of an individualized Christianity embedded in a strong congregational community. Furthermore, the project explores the relation between the Moravian Society and the absolutistic state church, as well as how the Moravian Society of Copenhagen can be considered a catalyst for the awakening movements in the 19th century.
