Stig Jensen to debate sustainable tourism at online event

The Danish Zoological Society will hold an online meeting on Thursday 19 November 2020 at from 7 to 8 pm. Associate Professor at Centre of African Studies, Stig Jensen, will provide insight into some key issues in connection with tourism in national parks and the possible effects this has, both in the conservation of biodiversity, and for local development opportunities.

Stig Jensen will include a number of concrete cases from the African continent to illustrate the issues. After the presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
