Visiting PhD researcher at CAS, Pablo Arconada Ledesma, reflects on his experience

Collaborating with CAS has been a most useful experience. During these months (June – September 2020) I have had the opportunity to work with professionals who have changed my perspective on African Studies. Not only at the research level, but it has also helped me to reflect on the continent and, especially, it has allowed me to discover new perspectives. This learning has helped me to rethink the small project focused on Africa I have initiated at my own university in northern Spain, the University of Valladolid, where I am usually based. Furthermore, the atmosphere that exists in CAS and the people who make it up, have made me feel like being at home from the first moment. Without a doubt, a very enriching experience.
