The tourists come and the good life returns

The Corona crisis has affetcted global tourism, and tourist desitnation in the global South in particular have felt the consequences. Here, nature-based tourism plays a central role in the financing of nature management, which creates jobs and thus income opportunities for local people in the area. 

Associate professor Stig Jensen has written an article in GlobalNyt based on his fieldwork in Costa Rica highlighting the consequences of the corona crisis for people and nature in nature-based tourist destinations, analyzing how  the crisis has affected the people living off nature tourism, and how have they come through the crisis?
