Climate Change in Africa
How is Africa situated within the climate crisis and COP28.
In a recent episode of Danish Radio P1 Orientering Udsyn, Associate Professor Stig Jensen talks about the first African Climate Summit and Africa’s position related to the COP 28 meeting. The African agenda focusing on more economic compensation from the Global North linked to loss and damages from climate change. Another focus in the interview is on Kenyan President William Ruto both as host for the African Climate Summit and as one of the African leaders in spearheading green energy transition in Kenya and on the continent.
