Swahili Festival 2024
Swahili Festival is an annual event offering a platform to Swahili businesses, NGOs, artists, and more to showcase their work, as well as offering the opportunity for attendees to interact with Swahili culture.
This year, our Kiswahili teacher Mumbi Macharia, who is also an award winning performing spoken word poet, will be among the performers at the festival. Additionally, Mumbi will also be accompanying our Kiswahili students to the event.
The festival is an opportunity for African Studies enthusiasts to experience Swahili food, drinks, art, and entrepreneurial initiatives.
The festival will take place on 12th October from noon until 8 pm, at Kildevæld Cultural Center, Bellmansgade 5C. Entry is free!
