Publication: Negotiating Consent in African Studies

CAS is pleased to announce the publication of a special issue of the Nordic Journal of African Studies titled Negotiating Consent in African Studies co-edited by Associate Professor Stig Jensen, together with Researcher Amanda Møller Rasmussen and Postdoc Rune Larsen.
The special issue presents a selection of case studies detailing the many complexities, contradictions, and, at times, moral and ethical dilemmas Africanist researchers face as they try to harmonize institutional guidelines on informed consent with both implicit and explicit expectations in the field.
Contributors to the issue include Amanda Møller Rasmussen, Rune Larsen, Stig Jensen, Therese Paulsen, Karmen Tornius, An Ansoms, Vedaste Cituli, and Abdul-Gafar Oshodi.
