Study trip to Ghana with CAS
Join Centre of African Studies 28 August – 15 September 2026 for a study trip to Ghana exploring culture, heritage, history, religion and memory.
The trip includes several activities, such as seminars on Danish influences on Ghanaian Christianity, learning about aspects of Ghanaian traditional cultures through engagement with traditional leaders, and participation in the Fetu Afahye festival celebrated by the people of Cape Coast. It also includes visits to historic heritage sites, including Christianborg Castle, Elmina Castle, and Cape Coast Castle, among other interesting events. Sign up for more!
Funding opportunities are being explored to support travel expanses for a total of 15 participants. The trip is open for CAS students and any other interested students at the Faculty of Theology.
