Bergen-Volda Shakespeare Network 2018 Venice Symposium

Anni Haahr Henriksen - Invited speaker
This BVSN Symposium was focused on Shakespeare & Seeing.
I presented a paper titled: 'A Man's Look is the Gate to His Minde': The Spectacle of disclosing Private Sin in Shakespeare's Hamlet Act III, II.
In this paper I comment on the use of 'occulted' in Act III, II, arguing that 'occulted' in its specific context refers to the canon law principle 'Ecclesia de occultis non iudicat'.
