I have been employed at University of Copenhagen since 2002, first as Teaching Assistant, Post.doc. and Assistant Professor, then as Associate Professor. From 2013-2018 I served as Professor (MSO = with special obligations) in Church History.

From 2023 I work on my monograph on "Modus loquendi. Word and Communication in Martin Luther", funded by the Carlsberg Foundation. Also, I have etablished Centre for Copenhagen Luther Research, a Centre that unites national and international Luther researchers in an interdisciplinary perspective, reaches out to students, doctoral students and produces impact, as well as serves as a point of departure for external funding applications.
