Workshop keynote talk by Prof. Brett Mills – Animals and Privacy: Responses to Critiques of the Idea of Animals’ Right to Privacy

Brett Mills is Visiting Professor of Media Studies at Edge Hill University, UK, and Honorary Professor of Media and Culture at the University of East Anglia, UK. At Edge Hill he is a member of the Centre for Human-Animal Studies. He is the author and co-author of 5 books, including Animals on Television: The Cultural Making of the Nonhuman (2017). He is part of the research team currently undertaking the AHRC-funded projects, ‘Multispecies Storytelling: More-than-Human Narratives about Landscape’ and ‘Multisensory Multispecies Storytelling to Engage Disadvantaged Groups in Changing Landscapes’.
