New visiting scholar at PRIVACY

Jørgen Mührmann-Lund has a PhD in history and specialises in early modern police regulation. He is interested in the everyday interaction between common people and the authorities during the early modern state building process. At the Centre for Privacy Studies, he will be doing a survey of the use of the word ‘private’ in Copenhagen newspapers from 1750 to 1800.

Jørgen will be at the centre from 1 February until mid-March. We are looking very much forward to the cooperation.
