New guest researcher at PRIVACY Sophie Battel

We are happy to welcome Sophie Battel as our guest researcher.

Sophie Battel has a PhD from Cardiff University and is currently based at the University Exerter, where she is a research assistant.

I am working on a monograph, 'Hospitality in Shakespeare’s Drama', which is forthcoming with Edinburgh University Press. I am also interested in the performance of intimacy, privacy, and domesticity in early modern drama.

We look forward to collaborating with Sophie.
