Scholar Francis Benyah Joins PRIVACY and CAS
This month, we have welcomed Francis Ethelbert Kwabena Benyah to the University of Copenhagen, where he will hold the position of Assistant Professor in African Studies at Centre for Privacy Studies, as well as at the Centre for African Studies.
Benyah's scholarly pursuits primarily revolve around Religion and Culture in West Africa, with a specific focus on exploring the intricate and multifaceted relationship between Religion and Culture in the region. In addition, Benyah also engages in research pertaining to Privacy Studies. Specifically, Benyah displays a profound interest in examining the dynamic interplay between religion, culture, memory, and privacy at former slave castles and forts in Ghana. Furthermore, Benyah's research extends to the investigation of privacy and health concerns in both Christian and indigenous forms of healing in West Africa.
We look forward to having him as part of the team, and we're sure his research will contribute greatly with new knowledge and perspectives to the centre.
