PRIVACY welcomes new postdoctoral researcher Asta Mønsted
The Centre for Privacy Studies is happy to welcome our newest postdoctoral reseacher Asta Mønsted.
Asta is a Danish-Greenlandic archaeologist. Asta was born and raised in Uummannaq, Greenland, and later educated as a prehistoric archaeologist at the SAXO Institute, the University of Copenhagen. She has conducted field work in Denmark, Greenland, Germany and Japan, but has specialized herself in Arctic Archaeology, where her main interests are: intangible cultural heritage, Inuit architecture, and Inuit oral history. In June 2022, Asta defended her PhD thesis, and has since then worked at the Department of Modern Times and World Cultures at the National Museum of Denmark, while teaching in Greenlandic and Arctic Studies at Cross-Cultural and Regional Studies at the University of Copenhagen.
We look forward to collaborating with Asta.
